Food supplement to help with treatment, containing 250mg Alpha-lipoic acid and 100mg Coenzyme Q10.

INDICATIONS
Nowadays, alpha-lipoic acid comes to the forefront as an antioxidant becoming more important since it is both water- and fat-soluble, free-radical scavenger, regenerates other antioxidants, chelates and so facilitates excretion of heavy metals. Lipoic acid, considered as a wonder antioxidant, has been used in many clinics. Although data on its clinical use is very limited, it is used in diabetic neuropathy treatment, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and dermatology and geriatric clinics. It is also used in cosmetics sector. Lipoic acid, nowadays comes into use in many fields, is considered as a universal antioxidant.

Coenzyme Q10 is an organic, natural, fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance. It is a cofactor in the intracellular electron transport chain.

Core activity of the Coenzyme Q10 is to take part in energy production. It functions together with the enzymes to provide energy required by the cells and to strengthen the muscles.  Due to its vital role in energy production, it is present in all cells throughout the body. Especially, it is abundant in the heart cells, and plays a role in healthy functioning of heart. In the studies it has been found that Coenzyme Q10 level of the people with cardiovascular and muscular diseases is LOW. Furthermore, Coenzyme Q10 is also effective as an antioxidant neutralizing free-radical and has an anti-aging effect. Besides, Coenzyme Q10 has quite positive effects on periodontal health, proper operation and enhancement of immune system, hypertension, diabetes, and other geriatric conditions.
